Africa Security Symposium (ASEC 22) returns as a live in-person event again and remains an opportunity like no other!

The Africa Security Symposium is a truly pan-African event that has grown in prominence over the years and has enjoyed the continued support of the African Union Commission, United Nations and INTERPOL among our esteemed delegation.
The event is exclusively attended by government Ministers, investors, industry suppliers and senior representatives from global organisations - all with the common goal of improving the security and safety of the continent. To maximise the opportunity to network and make meaningful partnerships, we have created a unique platform that facilitates personable 1-2-1 meetings with the people of your choosing.
The 9th Africa Security Symposium, will take place 17th – 18th May 2022 in the African hub of Nairobi, Kenya. This event will be host to approximately 300 delegates and exhibitors, that over the course of two days will participate in dedicated networking sessions, a cultural dinner and pre-scheduled match making meetings using our bespoke ‘meeting scheduling software’.

Through this targeted approach, the Security Series actively tackles some of the most pressing issues in the region, with thematic panel discussions that encourages audience participation to progress ideas of change - a departure from other ‘talk shop’ events in the region. The overwhelmingly positive feedback has shown that this is the preferred deal-making platform for opportunities in Africa, and discovering new products and services.

There is no such thing as an African problem. In an increasingly globalised world, issues in all areas have an impact on our society. The challenges that Africa face vary throughout the region, but all require a united effort to overcome: from terrorism to corruption to peace operations, it is necessary for the public and private sector to collaborate to strengthen security in the region. At the Africa Security Symposium, you can expect to meet and collaborate with government officials security experts and private sector suppliers in an intimate setting to strategize the solutions to the region’s most challenging issues.

Each year the event has grown and become a staple feature in the security calendar. This has facilitated many partnerships and highlighted the opportunities for both the public-private sector, to the benefit of the continent
